The inn, today both a pub and a hotel, was given a royal warrant in 1767. At that time it was more than an inn. Close to 300 meter long nice bathing beach, this wooden vacation house is situated on a 972 m2 nature ground. The house is built in 1979 and has a new kitchen from 1999. It has a 44 m2 big living room which is connected to the kitchen. The inner arrangement is considered as very good. The terrace is 60 m2, whereof the 10 m2 is covered with roof.

In the area there are fishing-, bathing-, nature-, and cultural experiences of all kinds. In the southern part of Als you find Skovmose, an area with vacation houses. The gorgeous sand beach, and the child friendly environment makes Skovmose a popular vacation area all year long. Here you can really relax and recharge yourself. No matter where you choose to settle, there is never more than 750 meters to the sea, and the daily grocery shopping can be done in Skovby which has a bakery and a supermarket. Kongsgård er en slægtsgård, der har været i samme families eje, siden den sidste stavnsbonde overtog stedet ved stavnsbåndets ophævelse i 1788. Under stavnsbåndet var gården underlagt Lerchenborg, ligesom de fleste andre gårde på Røsnæs og Asnæs. Den oprindelige gård eksisterer ikke mere, da den blev totalt ødelagt ved en brand i 1926. På brandtomten rejste man de nuværende bygninger, som efterfølgende er blevet udbygget.
